How far in advance should we book our family session?


I recommend booking your session at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons like spring and fall. However, if you have a specific date in mind, reaching out early is always best!

What should we wear for our session?

I always suggest coordinating outfits rather than matching exactly. Neutral tones, soft colors, and simple patterns photograph beautifully. I’m happy to provide a style guide and personal tips to help you choose outfits that feel natural and authentic for your family!

Where will our session take place?

Sessions can take place at an outdoor location (like a park, downtown area, or even your backyard!) or in your home for a more relaxed, lifestyle feel. I’m happy to suggest locations based on the vibe you’re looking for.

What if the weather is bad on our session day?

If we’re planning an outdoor shoot and the weather isn’t cooperating, we can reschedule at no additional cost or move the session indoors. Flexibility is key, and I’ll work with you to make sure we capture beautiful memories either way!

How long will the session last?

Family sessions typically last about 60–90 minutes, depending on the package you select and the ages of the children involved. I keep things relaxed and flexible to allow time for breaks, snacks, and all the real moments in between.

When will we receive our photos, and how many we will get?

You’ll receive a proofing gallery within about 1–2 weeks after your session. From there, you can select your favorites based on your package (with the option to purchase additional images if you’d like!). Final retouched images will be delivered shortly after your selections.

What happens if my kids (or spouse!) aren’t cooperating?


Don’t worry — it’s totally normal! My approach is very laid-back and playful. I focus on capturing authentic moments, not stiff poses. Some of the best images come from the candid, in-between moments when everyone is just being themselves.
